I know, they're beauties! Just to see them hanging loosely or flatly on your walls can totally improve your living room space. They're sleek, chic, and state-of the-art. I can't blame anyone who'll fall in love with this precious piece. But flat screen TV is not as reliable as it looks and most of the time, it's just an ultimate fantasy more than a necessity. There are pros and cons in buying this home electronic device. Don't you just jump into impulsive trade; after all, not all things on sale are for everyone to have.

There's always a price for beauty, but how much are you willing to spare for some stylish design that is light and portable? You don't need a strong back; you can lift the TV anywhere or move it around your walls. With its variety and sizes, it is proven to be flexible and irresistible. An LCD or flat screen can be 2-in-1. While functioning as a TV, you can also use it as PC monitor. Now, how's that for practical value? With high definition and quality video programming, we are certain to get the best viewing experience of detail and color.

While there are gains, there are also drawbacks in acquiring this fragile piece. One too obvious reason for some consumers is the exorbitant cost. Usually, the price is pegged at a thousand dollars, which for some common American household, may be a li'l much to expend from their budget. More so, you cannot entrust everything to LCDs; they can be unreliable when it comes to cable programming and satellite transmission. Some LCDs are also not advisable for video gaming while some of its external components can be a hassle, too. If plasma sets burn in static image, it can damage the TV permanently. So if I were you, I'll assess its real value.

Whether its a flat screen or an ordinary box, TV is your most popular companion at home. It can be a friend or a foe but always be grateful for the wonder of its technology. Seeing the world in a box is one of mans best inventions. You learn, you share and you always take part in its viewing experience. Have you ever taken notice how many times it came to your rescue? It entertains you and gives you practical ideas to make living worthwhile. Although TV viewing may have its adverse effects, life will never be the same without moving characters that resemble to life.

I recently purchased a wide screen flat TV. Man, its a beauty hanging on my living room! I cant take my eyes of it and even if I spent too much for this guilty pleasure, I really dont mind for Im sure it will last some time and give me the comfort of a total entertainment jive. Of course, well have to take care of it like a living room family. And for me, I limit my use to 6 hours or a lil more and I always unplug the connections after. You see I can be very meticulous but at least I can also save energy and some pennys worth from my electric bill. You dont have to live in a jungle and turn the volume too loud. Not only will you have the decency of watching but the ability to stop the rapid winding on your electric meter.

TV viewing is not bad. But too much can lead to weary, tired eyes. Dont blame the TV! Curse it on the poor lighting. When its dark, your eyes adjust to the light exerting too much effort so you can see through the images. Yet when its bright, your eyes still manage to make the necessary contrasting effect just so you can watch clearly. An ample lighting system wont only save your eyes from wear and tear, it will give you the benefit of effective personal viewing as well. TV has millions of information to share and you can expect that not all things are filtered to be good, so if you have kids at home, its part of your authority to limit their use or substantiate the ideas they gather. TV viewing can either be powerful or harmful and its up to you what effect youll take.

We are more powerful than we ever thought but that power doesn't come from the technological advances we've made: it's the power to choose. There are times when choices are not as easy as it looks. In fact, often, we are torn apart and stuck in a dilemma. Why not when we're confronted with competitive options most of the time? One way or another, we'll always have our losses and gains. The important thing is that we manage and meet our quintessential needs. Some choices can be good or evil, foolish or wise or a matter of life and death. But you are what you choose to be. A quote from Peter Parker says,"with great power comes great responsibility."

While they say that computers do make things easier, it can also be the bane of our existence. People are predisposed to shame and disgrace with the proliferation of uninhibited data and images. How many computer-generated scams have ruined lives, family and career? I'm not even surprised if one day, our brains would be injected with microchips of artificial intelligence or we'll be surrounded by robots and space glides. The Matrix is not far from reality. But before that day comes, we should be the master of our own computers. We shouldn't be victims of its manipulative power and technology.

Some things do become extinct while others become obsolete in time. But whatever is lost, man makes up for it with more meaningful alternatives. One example is computers, to transcend information gap and international boundaries, we have this electronic device at our disposal and use. So if you were to choose, will your computer be a desktop or a laptop? Although laptop looks more appealing, there are drawbacks in selecting this piece. The benefit of having a laptop is its portability, however, it may also be easier to steal while you lose valuable data along with it. You also cannot tinker with it as much as you want to. Parts are "proprietary," meaning the manufacturer can only be the one to replace it. And what if warranty expires? You'll pay more even if you can have a more powerful desktop for the same price.

To ensure health and safety of your family, you have to keep your home spotless clean. Your eyes may not see dusts, but it's not an excuse to risk your family's comfort and well-being. Invisible particles may cause infection and weaken your body's system without you knowing it. So it's very important that you have vacuum cleaners to suck up the dirt and maintain a germ-free house.
Wednesday, May 2. 2007
You have to develop a routine in vacuum cleaning. To save energy and to slash off the rates on your electric bill, use vacuum cleaners twice a week. It's wise to use it on a Wednesday and Sunday, with just the right interval of time. Before you plug it in the socket, make sure that you've dust off the furnitures, drawers, and cabinets with a damp cloth. Don't just vacuum everywhere. Plan systematically where you'll start. That way, you'll be finished in no time covering all the spots.

It's one of the home appliances that is built to last. You don't have to upgrade the model every now and then. Take care of it the way it takes care of the messy scare in your house. Choose a good spot for storage and keep it away from kids. Avoid it from getting wet or it will wear out and tear down.

Tell me what you're wearing and I'll tell you who you are? Whether you believe in this unfair judgment or not, there's nothing you can do but submit yourself to the scrutinizing eyes of a superficial society. Elegant, charming, and sophisticated, that's their initial assessment and quick perception when you're dressed in Armani. It matters a lot how you dress up and carry yourself. They say it speaks a lot about your character and personality. I always believe in putting my best foot forward. I don't risk placing my reputation under unfair judgment, so I make sure that my suits are kept clean and wrinkle-free all the time. I don't risk comfort either so I personally supervise the laundry of my clothes to ensure that my expensive suits are preserved and maintained with utmost care. I believe in the importance of a household laundry service and the power of washing machine.
Sunday, April 29. 2007
Consume space wisely. Place your washing machine close to the water supply connection. Also, make sure that it has a socket outlet and a good drainage area. Keep it away from direct sunlight for it will soon tarnish the paint of your washing machine. Give room for enough number of clothes. Do not overload its capacity and separate the clothes by color, types, and set aside those with zipper and buttons. If you put too many clothes, it will affect the spinning speed and ability of the washing machine.
Saturday, April 28. 2007
Use the right amount and type of detergent for your clothes and for your washing machine. For 10 litres of water, you'll need 1/2 scoop of detergent powder. A spin dryer can dry your clothes up to 85%. Segregate your clothes by type of fabric and color. Then, place them evenly in the dryer. Remember that you cannot spin dry woolen fabrics or they'll lose the shape and style. Just drain water after use. Give it a cleaning treat once a month or whenever there's a starch formula in your detergent solution.

Can openers give rigid and crooked edges upon opening a can that often result to serious cut in a hand or in fingers and many moms are complaining about its dangers not only to them, but also to their youngsters who are eager to use can openers. If stricken by ill fate, a simple cut might lead to a serious wound that could cause a fatal condition such as tetanus. This problem seems to be plain and simple that people tend to ignore it.
Thursday, April 26. 2007
Can openers are part of our daily life and it is an often neglected tool because people don't consider it as a necessity. However, it is an inexpensive powerful tool that can make a kitchen task easier. Like when you are cooking and you need to open a canned peas, you will need a can opener in order to do your task quickly. It gives you a less work than using a knife to manually open a can.
Wednesday, April 25. 2007
Nevertheless, technology has finally heard moms' call for revolution of can openers, and produced an electronic can opener that will help moms do their kitchen work easier and happier. The Hamilton Beach Smooth Edge embodies a safer and smoother can opening. It also has a cord storage, plus a useful knife sharpener in case the tool's knife becomes blemished. No one ever thought of this kind of revolution, eh? Well, in America everything is possible!

We always give credit to the wide screen TV in giving us the world of moving pictures; the audio masterpiece for giving us the freedom to hear and enjoy sounds; and for computers in speeding up the search for our utmost necessities. But how about the unsung heroes? Have you ever paid tribute to your iron, for the wrinkle-free clothes you take along with you to daily habits of your life? They are resting on the other corner, less important for you but they always deliver the best whenever you use them. The only tribute you can give the iron is the benefit of saving energy and using them with compassion and care.
Monday, April 23. 2007
I think our iron at home has already exceeded its life span. Unlike with TV and audio system, they stay loyal to you as long as they can. You don't need to update their models every year. So to speak, they are humble servants. But if you want a tousle-free service, treat them well. There are 4 easy steps to use them effectively. First, always have a starch spray with you. It will help even out wrinkles easier. Step 2, set your iron's heat relative to the type of fabric or clothing. Read the tags, for Pete's sake! Step 3, don't be dumb enough to leave the iron on the same spot for too long. Of course, it will burn your clothes. And lastly, press your clothes inside out and you'll save the color and the garment itself.
Sunday, April 22. 2007
Do not overwork your iron. If you're boss drives you nuts, give your iron a break from heat stress. In our house, we only have a day or two to iron our clothes for the entire week. This way, we also save from electric bills. Fresh from laundry, we do not stack it up for long. It takes less time to press them when they're a bit dampy and moist. Always turn it off, and remember to pull that plug. Let them cool and put them where they belong. By doing that, you are extending its power and your giving your precious iron more years to live in the household.

It looks like a gun, and I feel like getting shot in the heart whenever I see her flailing with a velvety, soft, blonde hair. Thank God for the hair dryer that always keep my wife beautiful even if there are drastic changes in her. She lost her lovely figure when she gained a lot of weight. She changed from a sexy, adventurous girl to a conservative mom. Years are catching up on all of us. But if there's one thing that I appreciate about her, it's how she takes care of her crowning glory. You'll never see her with a messy hair. Her lovely hair is her asset, the same thing I loved the first time I saw her.
Friday, April 20. 2007
Exposure to heat can be bad for the hair, but it's the lesser evil compared to chemicals used for the hair. You can roll, set, and curl your hair with the dryer. And for a dynamic woman like my wife, it gives her the convenience of beauty even on the 59th minute. The secret for a spicy married life is to never let your husband see you in a mess. It will ruin the fantasy and excitement if you're too at ease with each other. Surprise him with your ever changing style. Don't be aggressive all the time, don't be boring too. Experiment with what you do with your hair. I always have a sense of pride whenever we go out as a couple. She never ceased to care for our marriage and for herself. She's always confident with a straight, sexy hair!

I'm a neat-freak, or an obsessive compulsive when it comes to kitchen tidiness. I'm a fitness enthusiast and I love to eat so I command things to be always in order. Do you mean order? There's clutter everywhere and what am I to do but to scrub the kitchen wares all night long.
Perhaps living in a condo and working two jobs a day is a bit too much for my conservative ways. I always want see the house clean and nifty. My kids salute me and even call me "General Repair". I don't mind at all, but our home is turning into a cramp of pigsty.
One time, I went to the grocery and found this savvy kitchen piece, and I immediately sighed "I'm bringing this genius home!" The Kitchen Plus 2000 is an 8 in 1 kitchen aide. It works as a slicer, shredder, whipper, egg white separator, blender, chopper, julienne, and citrus juicer. I'm not working for a home TV shopping network but I'd say it's amazing.
In one week, it solved most of my kitchen pet peeves. We were able to save time and space, plus we no longer need all those kitchen showcase since we could have it all in one. Since I bought this Kitchen Plus 2000, I've also noticed a change in our lifestyle. My wife would invite friends over with a quick fix of salad and other food varieties. My boy also learned to love fruit shakes and lemonade, which is very good for our health.
Although there's too much daily stress, we could try to simplify life. We could stay fit and healthy without compromising a hefty amount of our salary. And the best thing of all, it made us want to stay in the kitchen more for our usual family-bonding.

Every corner, every space speaks of the drama anthology in the family. We all have our favorite spot for some sentimental reason or personal theory. And a house should always be about the family.
So where's my mom? She's always always tilling her garden as a first-love hobby, while my dad toils with his tools in the garage. As for me, well, I'm always in my kitchen palace. I call it palace because I brag of my humble servants. They're dainty and exquisite, and unlike other home electronics, they've remained loyal to the family ensuring health and safety at all times.
When it comes to cooking ware and kitchen electronics, I don't mind investing a fortune. Now I don't want to get fussy, but everyday we attend to our hectic existence, to daily hustles of living in the metro. When we go home, we go straight to our bedrooms to rest our tired souls. We all have to work double time so we could pay bills and keep our house. The only quality time we have is the dining hours. We make it a point to get a hang on each other's life at least while cooking or eating. That's why the kitchen plays a special spot in my life.
Splurging on kitchen electronics, I've received an added value in life. With my kitchen wares, life was made easier to bare. My wife and I are into pastries. We bake cookies and cakes and sell it while I always take time to cook for my kids.
If you want a clean living room, don't forget the kitchen. Some kitchen wares ensure the clean and healthy handling of food. And food is always a prime element in producing a healthy family.
